Therapy Limited Scholarship Criteria
This limited scholarship is available for those clients who are financially unable to pay the full price for therapy. Individuals or families whose income is 175%, (or less), of poverty level as stated by Health and Human Services federal guidelines for poverty can apply for the scholarship. Below is a table showing the cutoffs.
The scholarship is six weeks long, will adjust the session fee down to $50/hour, and can be repeated when there is an empty scholarship appointment available. If there is not an appointment available, the client can request to be put on a waiting list for the next available scholarship appointment.
Federal Health and Human Services Poverty Guidelines
If you receive a limited scholarship and do not show up to your appointment, without a notice to cancel within 24 hours, you will be put back on the waiting list. I have this policy because there are a limited number of scholarships available. With people on the waiting list, I cannot save your spot if you do not come to your appointment. Thanks for your understanding.
